Space to Discuss

Often researchers get their best ideas when discussing their work with other researchers in a casual environment. Not only is the inner courtyard a great place to enjoy a coffee break with other scientists, but the circular corridor also has small areas with comfortable seating where researchers can use the time between experiments to talk with colleagues about their results.

The youngest BIOSS members are also welcome in Signalhaus. On the ground floor is a “romper room” where children can play while mom or dad does some research. Or the researchers themselves can also use the room for a little downtime.
