Shipping and Returns
BIOSS-Toolbox guarantees that the provided material is not dangerous to humans or animals, it is only S1-GVP classified material in accordance with the GenTSV (Gentechnik-Schutz-Verordnung). The transfer of material will take place at the risk of the donor and recipient.
Although BIOSS-Toolbox aims for the highest level of quality control, we recommend that you conduct restriction digests for your verification.
We will inform the recipient by mail when the delivery of requested material has been performed and kindly request confirmation that the material has safely arrived.
Inside the University of Freiburg we transfer the material in form of a bacterial plate. With your special request we could also send out DNA. At this moment the transfer will be handled individually.
The shipping of plasmids inside of Germany will be managed by Deutsche Post and BIOSS-Toolbox will assume responsibility for any costs during the set-up phase. The material will be provided in form of bacterial stabs.
The transfer of material worldwide will takes place with FedEx or by Deutsche Post. The costs and risk associated with the transport will have to be carried by the recipient.
