Our Goal - Your Benefit

We create a backup of your materials and information and supply functional, descriptive and well annotated materials with high quality.

We help you saving time by answering plasmid requests and archiving your valuable samples.

Please keep in mind that sharing your plasmids via the BIOSS Toolbox allows other scientists to build on your work, thereby improving scientific networking.

We accept your sample in one of the following formats:

• DNA (10-20 ul of sample with at least 0,2 to 1ug/ul)
• DNA on filter paper
• as bacterial glycerol stock
• as a bacterial plate (plate sealed tightly with foil)

Plasmid & Legal Information

Submitting a plasmid requires you to perform two steps of paperwork:

• Please fill in the Plasmid Information Form and send it to us via email. If available, please add the corresponding plasmid map, preferable in GB, GCS or CM5 file formats. It is recommended to use Adobe Acrobat (NOT Adobe Reader) to fill in the Plasmid Information Form.

• Please take the time to
  1. carefully read our Terms And Conditions
  2. print out the corresponding Toolbox Donor Agreement
  3. send the signed contract either via fax or together with your submitted material.
