Freiburg iGEM team 2013
1. Short Summary Project:
This
year‘s iGEM team of Freiburg University is composed of about 20
students and advisors who recruit themselves of different ages and
subject divisions - namely the biological sciences, medicine and
informatics. Thus, within the structure of a worldwide Synthetic Biology
competition, an interdisciplinary research amongst our young and
dedicated participants is achieved. It is a strong ambition to successfully present the final results on European and World Championship.
Towards
a deeper understanding of cancer diseases and virus infections, the
development of recombinant fusion proteins might turn out to be a new
key - which is what team „FreiGEM“ aims at.
